Our Initiatives
At the Ethan Wright Foundation, our initiatives are shaped by Ethan’s story and guided by the belief that no young person should face mental health challenges, body image issues, or identity struggles alone.
From funding research and supporting early intervention to raising awareness and building inclusive partnerships, each initiative we undertake is focused on creating meaningful change — for Ethan, and for others like him.
Current Focus Areas

We support and commission evidence-based research into body dysmorphia, anorexia, and youth mental health. By improving understanding, we aim to drive better treatment, policy, and early intervention.
Research and Understanding

We create and share accessible resources that help people understand the realities of body dysmorphia, eating disorders, and mental health struggles. This includes toolkits for both professionals and young people, designed to break down stigma and offer practical support.
Awareness and Education

We work with trusted organisations, professionals, and researchers to amplify impact. Whether it’s co-funding a study or supporting community outreach, we believe collaboration leads to lasting change.
Partnerships and Collaboration

We are in the early stages of developing a grant-making framework to support frontline services and grassroots projects that align with our mission. More details will be shared soon.
